1972 Obfusc/ation
Pink Floyd · 2 plays

Pink Floyd's 1972 Obfusc/ation, the 2016 remix of the Live at Pompeii session, owns the evening on the strength of One of These Days and the twenty-four-minute Echoes. Both were filmed by Adrian Maben in the empty Roman amphitheatre at Pompeii with no audience at all, the band playing to stone, which is close to the cosmic solitude the whole first hour reaches for.

Gong · You (Deluxe Edition)
† Liner note
From Gong's You (1974), the closing panel of Daevid Allen's Radio Gnome Invisible trilogy and the peak of the band's glissando-guitar space whisper.
